Next, wash and thoroughly dry apples. If making chocolate covered strawberries, wash and set aside to dry.

Once washed and dried, insert the sticks into the core of the apple’s.

Set aside toppings you would would like to dip in the apples or sprinkle over the apples. There are many topping to choose from such as nuts, oreo’s, coconut, mini Hershey kisses, and different sprinkles. I never use any type of nuts when I cook due to my Oldest son’s peanut allergy. Above I set aside coconut, mini white kisses, and sprinkles.

Then, get your double boiler out. If you do not have one, you can do what I did and use a glass bowl. Place the glass bowl over boiling water then turn heat to simmering, melt chocolate.

Keep Melting…

There you go! :)

Finally! Time for the fun part to start. Dip those apples! After you dip the apple place on parchment paper and place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.

If making strawberries as well, dip in chocolate and place on parchment paper.

If making strawberries, melt your white bakers chocolate for the white drizzle on the milk chocolate.

Drizzle white chocolate over strawberries. I just took one on the wooden sticks from the apples and drizzled away. Its hard to mess this up.

Lastly, plate the delicious goodies in any way you like. I put ribbons around the sticks on the apples, and placed the strawberries on a crystal tray. Strawberrys and wine always go well, and of course I lit some candles.
